This is a piece from a Challenge on PixelJoint [link] We were restricted by the following criteria: Character had to have only one eye, picture had to be made using one of four pre-chosen CGA palettes, the whole picture had to be a maximum of 320x200.
Anyway, this was my submission - an "Eye of the Deep", a beholder-kin from the 2nd Edition AD&D Monster Manual (c) WOTC. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
